Discover the unique charm of Lago Escondido and the end of the majestic Andes Mountains on an authentic experience, guided by a pioneering family in these lands. This activity combines adventure, nature, and Fuegian tradition, in a setting of breathtaking landscapes and genuine hospitality. The day begins with a horseback ride, ideal for all experience levels. During the winter, the ride lasts approximately one hour, while in the summer it extends to two hours. Along the way, we enjoy incredible views of Lago Escondido, traverse the Fuegian forest, and arrive at the lake's shore, a place that exudes tranquility and a deep connection with nature. After the ride, the warmth of the mountain refuge awaits us. There, we share a traditional Fuegian lunch, including a charcuterie board with salami and cheese, sausages, roast beef with salad, and beverages, finishing with coffee and something sweet. All surrounded by horses and the natural environment that characterizes this region. For those who require it, we also offer menus adapted for celiacs, vegetarians, or vegans (upon request). 📷 Places we visited - Garibaldi Pass – one of the most iconic viewpoints in Tierra del Fuego. - National Route 3 – a historic and scenic route that crosses unique mountain landscapes. - Hidden Lake – a natural jewel surrounded by forests and mountains, a mirror of water that surprises in any season. - Fuegian Forest – magical trails among lenga and coihue trees, where the silence and the fresh air take center stage. Easy – suitable for all ages, even for those who have never ridden a horse before. The experience includes: 🚕 Transportation: pick-up from your accommodation and return to the city. 🐴 Horseback riding: 1 hour in winter / 2 hours in summer, through the Fuegian forest and along the lake shore. 🍽️ Lunch at the refuge: appetizers, sausages, grilled meat with salad, drinks, coffee, and something sweet. 👱 Bilingual guide: Spanish/English (please specify language when booking).
